What is real anymore?

This is my first artwork to be released with AI elements blended in with my illustrations.
It came about after I was invited by the Satyrus Meta Art team to exhibit at the 'Inside Artificial Intelligence' event in Rome on 18th Nov 2023.
I thought that this was a great opportunity to create an artwork that asks questions about what's acceptable as real, what's considered as authentic?
First step was to get one of the many AI apps available today to generate lots of portrait paintings in different styles, based on photographs of mine which I supplied. They are all of one person and the AI rendered painting of this person in many different ways. They all look somewhat different from each other and look different from the real person.
The most interesting ones were glitchy images, one of which became the central core of the artwork.
