This piece is part of a limited series of 4 unique 1/1 arts based on photos I took in Ukraine before to leave the country, each photo was taken in a different season of the year. This series of 4 arts I named as "Ukraine in Four Seasons".
This is Winter... the coldest and freezing season of the year. The original photo for this art I took in a forest, near my hometown, the same forest as the one of Autumn. This time the days are more grey. The forests are like a black & white world, with sometimes a blue sky, a fairytale in monochrome. Ignoring the fact of the cold, the winter brings a lot of new possibilities to have fun, such as ski, snowboard, ice skating, making snowmen, or even a war of snowballs with your friends. The Winter also brings wonderful moments in family, such as the Christmas and New Year, both Orthodox and Christian ones, so actually four different celebrations, two for Christmas and two for New Year, due to the Julian calendar.
