the moment i knew

I knew I was healing and regaining my strength when I could fall asleep watching the dozens of spiders crawl across the ceiling above me. The fear I had endured on this road trip alone heavily outweighed my fear of bugs. This was perhaps the singular moment I knew I was going to be okay. 15 steps out of my bedroom door was this view. A peaceful hammock placed beside a tree in a field of tall grass, overlooking the mountains of Topanga. Peace. Quiet. Spiders. It's all fine. Topanga, California 2018 -- Fever Dreamin’ is a multi-part collection of 1/1 NFTs. Each image was originally shot on 35mm film. I have adjusted the tone curves to transform each image into a combination of how I was feeling on a quiet night in Feb 2022 and how I dream of seeing the world. 10% of sales will be donated to the Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC.
