How grand is this life? It's absurd. The more I think about it, the more reason I have to let go of my expectations of both myself and other people. How dare we allow ourselves feel bad when we don't do enough, when we don't succeed as much as we thought we could... As we so spitefully challenged ourselves to. How dare we do that to ourselves? I'm so sorry to my younger self for forcing her to believe that she had to be perfect and make all the right decisions. Life is hard enough. I never let her see how grand it is. I'm so sorry. It's finally time to come out and play.
