Our lives are shaped by the choices we make. One seemingly small action can trigger a series of events that disrupts the trajectory of our current path. Ultimately, a new course of direction begins, and with it, a new future.
I can recall a time in my life where I felt comfortable, but not entirely content. I was lost, until I picked up a camera and captured the northern lights. This was my catalyst for change, and the moment that set off a ripple effect in the days, months and years to follow. My camera became an extension of myself, and my greatest tool in documenting the extraordinary moments of this beautiful life.
But after all of these years, I cherish these special nights under the lights just a little bit more. They are, after all, a beautiful reminder of my journey to "now". But to witness a moment like this! An incredibly rare G5 solar storm over Peyto Lake in Banff National Park. This moment was truly once in a lifetime. This moment was a gift.
