Asymmetry mapped on symmetry. This portraiture of one of the captured elephants in India illustrates the paradox that is the life of an elephant. These sentient beings are chained and enslaved in the very temples where they are worshiped as Gods. This artwork was rendered to bring awareness to the situation of these creatures and to urge everyone to work actively towards their freedom and protection.
