I have been painting this picture for about 2 months.
Mermaids have been associated with the ideal of female magic for me. In many mythologies they were on the side of evil, but in my imagination they are wise, generous, sincere, noble, possessing incredible beauty creatures.
The mermaid shows her soul to those who are really willing to see it. In the same way, I reveal my soul in my art, and whoever is willing, can see it.
