A composite image I made of the "Buck" full moon on July 23, 2021.
The distinctive orange glow is a result of the smokey haze that has travelled across much of North America due to the recent, unfortunate forest fires. To capture the details of the craters, one photo was taken at a fast shutter rate and the second was a bit longer to capture the misty orange glow. I felt the result looked pretty cool. Much better than i imagined in the field.
