I adore sunrises, and Kolikkumalai is my favorite spot for a quick getaway. Whenever I visit the area, I make a point of watching the sunrise from Kolukkumalai. I should mention that each sunrise I saw from Kolukkumala was unique and spectacular! Yes, watching the sunrise from Kolikkumali helps me rediscover myself and inspires me to be cheerful and spread positive energy.
This was one of the most stunning sunrises I've ever witnessed in person. Although my original intention was to create a timelapse of the sunrise, the colors were so beautiful that I decided to stop my timelapse and start shooting it manually. I only had one camera at the time, so I couldn't resist taking a picture when the opportunity came up.
