Sunset Pavilion is a place imagined in the metaverse dedicated to meditation, a joint passion of the two artists who made the work: Joonook, a metaverse architect, and Sunjae, a multidisciplinary artist. Using Joonook's dreamlike 3d landscapes combined with sound design that mixes saxophone performance with the sounds of Jogyesa temple in Seoul, Korea, Sunset Pavilion represents the mind's eye in meditation as it switches back and forth from day/night, clarity/obscurity, yin/yang.
