What's the VALUE of a Nigerians Life?
As the country celebrated its independence on October 1st, 2021, merely a year from the brutal EndSars protests a series of mass protests against police brutality in Nigeria. The slogan calls for the disbanding of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a notorious unit of the Nigerian Police with a long record of abuses. Which saw some Nigerians losing their life for a just cause.
The skulls represent the lives lost over the years fighting for justice and the scale determines the value of their sacrifice. However the bright sun, warm and comforting marks the dawn of a new age where Nigerians can speak up for their rights.
The question remains; What's the VALUE of a Nigerians Life?
