In 2019, I traveled over 1500kms to shoot at this beach, only to have my camera swept away by a rogue wave. It had been my third visit to this beautiful area, and not the first time I had lost equipment to its relentless currents. I had been devastated at the time, but very quickly the landscape eased me of my suffering.
There is something absolutely magical about this place. Highly secluded from tourists, and quite the effort to get to, but it is an absolute paradise to behold. This spot will always hold a special place in my heart as long as I live. I created this scene to truly capture all the emotions I feel when I think about this place, and it instantly transports me back.
