Each breath unlocks a box of a thousand memories
As I sit waiting,
Each tick of the clock reminds me of the pulchritude that will follow.
A knock at the door — and my heart skips a beat;
Time bows to your presence,
As your smile warms up the room.
A homely reminiscence in your eyes,
and in mine — a puddle.
A puddle of love, that now cascades
Blurry, yet everything seems clear —
For in this moment, I am only rising
Rising, in love with you.
