The Teacher #2/5

In an attempt to uncover the deeper parts of me, I am taking a step on the first wrung of the ladder to connect to an honest part of myself. I find it really difficult to stay focused on my emotions for long enough to really be connected to what I’m feeling. Who am I really? Underneath all of the layers of protection that I’ve unknowingly built, behind all the roles that I play and the masks I wear .. ? Am I even interested in finding out who I truly am ? I’m right at the beginning of this journey and I’m just learning to dig within and examine myself. What am I feeling in this moment as I try to know myself .. What will I find ? Let the thoughts arise …
