What is so special about the night sky, filled with stars, these tiny envoys of beauty that come out at night?
Maybe it is that they induce in us a spirit to dream. To think beyond the physical world.
I wonder how our ancestors felt that first night looking out into the deep dark sky lit with millions of campfires. Before we devised artificial lights and atmospheric pollution and modern forms of nocturnal entertainment.
Even today the most jaded city dweller can be unexpectedly moved upon encountering a clear night sky studded with thousands of twinkling stars.
When it happens to me after all these years it still takes my breath away.
Starry night makes one dream.
I do believe that if people looked at the stars each night, they'd live a lot differently.
