Shot at Matheran, Maharashtra, India on a rainy evening, this photograph looks like a Hollywood movie poster and the back-story is equally thrilling. We were visiting this hill-station for the first time ever and in pursuit of some out-of-the-box photographs, we had walked deep into the forest without keeping a close watch on the time in hand. And when we were done, we realised that it was already dark and with no localites around to show us the way back to our hotel, it goes without saying that we were terrified to the core.
With the fear of wild animals & reptiles around, we kept searching frantically for the way when we suddenly caught a glimpse of a forest guard walking towards us. It was nothing less than a miracle that we eventually managed to walk out of the forest unscathed, with his timely help. Shot this photograph on the way back through the winding roads.
