My work is based on self-portraiture and making my inner world visible, I like to use decontextualized elements to create complex feelings.
In this case I digitally combined two black and white polaroids, a self-portrait and a photo of flowers. The films had not been stored at the right temperature so the result is blurry, streaked and blotchy, creating a dreamlike feeling.
