Abstract Mind

I still want To walk into a crowded room and find a face that feels like home. I still believe After all the scars and burns To find a touch which heals them Not just to the surface but deep within. I still hope To find a song that describes my soul As if it was written for me. I still think There's a beam waiting for me to follow And take me to a place I belong. I still look At the sky every night and look for the answers to the questions in my head. I still write To pour my heart out to find the perfect words That expresses how I really feel. I still wonder If there's anything I'd ever look at and find my eyes shining with joy. I still enjoy The void the numbness and how the world seems to stop as if it's just me and nothing but everything around me. I still hear The silence and it still surprises me how comforting it can be. I still see The beautiful world and the people and their perfect smiles and sorrows they've been hiding behind it. I still feel So much for everything and everyone but always find myself ineffable. I still love Every little thing surrounding me the sky the moon the water the trees and the air.
