One publication single-handedly defined sex appeal for an entire generation. Girls dreamed to be them and guys dreamed of being with them. The Playboy bunny. An undeniably iconic piece of pop culture. And at the peak, nothing was more popular than each month’s “Centerfold.” The center of the magazine and the center of attention, she was it. In tribute to this title, I sought to create a piece that brought back the “Centerfold” in glamorous fashion. It may be a thing of the past now but for a moment, when photographing this image, the Playboy Mansion of the 70s lived again. Shot on medium format film in Beverly Hills.
