One of Normandy's famous landmarks, Mont Saint Michele, is beautifully located off the Northwestern coast of France. During the 14th century, a place of peace and war became a fairytale castle, now a miniature city within its borders.
Due to its amazing panoramas, this breathtaking landscape has been captured by many photographers. I walked around the outside of the walls to enjoy the beautiful landscape surrounding the gates as well as the spectacular view of the Normandy coast from inside.
With its old structure from the 1500s, you are immediately drawn in, admiring the progress of the abbey as vehicles pass by. A long exposure montage of this scene was simply impossible to resist. The composition of automobiles leaving for the evening lighting the epic scene makes this image 'Castle In The Night' ever so striking!
