Why do Humans Create Art ?

A question I've constantly pondered. What causes the innate desire to create? Why do we want to share what we create with the world? Perhaps my path was written before I ever had a say. The inclination to create art was something I must have had all along. Is this part of our human nature or do I not fit in a mold shaped by humanity? Will it lead me to the unknown? I might better understand who I am and the world around me because of it. Is there a deeper meaning to all of this as I pour my heart and soul into my work? Only time will tell. For now, I can only follow my heart and submit to what my mind tells me. Maybe one day I will finally understand why I create, but until then I'll just keep asking myself Why do Humans Create Art ?
