As we roam this Earth in search for our purpose, at times we become lost. We are each on a mission to find our meaning but sometimes we stray from our path. In search for the truths, in search for our meaning. This journey of life is all different for each of us. Sometimes during our journey through life we become wrapped in darkness, it is important that we do what we can to again, find the light. The universe is made up of a perfect balance of all things. Dark and light are a perfect example of how two opposites can coexist to create something beautiful on this Earth.
In my work I have always tried to represent the perfect balance between dark and light. This has ultimately been the premise of my body of work for the past decade. I myself was wrapped in darkness most of my life, then I found the light. Now both live within me in perfect harmony to allow me to portray my images in this unique way.
This piece is a composite image I created recently representing the balance of dark and light, signifying no matter how much you may be wrapped in darkness, the light will always uplift us.
