Have always wondered how much free will we have, more than is healthy. For this reason, The Fates are a recurring theme in my work. Wondering about free will is not a modern phenomenon. People have been questioning it for millennia. - My AI imagined faces are a continuation of my ongoing study of AI portraiture. Have been painting portraits with AI and my robots for almost 20 years. About 6 years ago I started using deep learning (CNNs/GANs) to add style and even imagine artificial faces. This new work, which is my most detailed to date, uses all of my legacy AI with the addition of new Diffusion models.
