Lord Shiva, is considered the embodiment of Supreme Consciousness among the Hindu pantheon.
On a physical plane, “he” is an ascetic figure seated on tiger skin with blue throat, a third eye, and a moon perched on “his” head.
But on a more intellectual realm, Shiva is a space of deep silence and stillness where all the activities of the mind dissolve. It’s the state of absolute goodness and awareness combined. This space can be manifested wherever you are.
The moment one is centered, they experience the Shiva - the divinity present everywhere. This becomes a meditation and paves way to the experience of absolute bliss. This fourth state of consciousness—the meditative state that is beyond the states of waking, deep sleep, and dreams.
This artwork tries to delineate the ‘Chidananda Roopah’
Chidananda = Chitt ( soul, mind, thoughts ) + Ananda ( happiness , bliss)
Roopah = form
