This mesmerizing image captures the spellbinding night view of Jaipur from the iconic Nahargarh Fort. I've always dreamt of taking a night shot of this city from this precise frame of Nahargarh Fort.
But let me tell you, it wasn't an easy journey. I had tried 2-3 times before, but there were always obstacles. Sometimes, I didn't have my tripod with me, and other times, the lighting or sunset just didn't cooperate.
Then, on my last visit in May 2023, everything fell into place. I had my trusty Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 lens mounted on my Sony A7 iv camera, and I came prepared with a stable tripod. I set up my camera with a 10-second shutter speed, and finally, I got the shot I had been dreaming of.
This photograph means the world to me; it's one of my absolute favorites from this year. I can't stress this enough – if you ever find yourself in Jaipur in the future, you absolutely must visit this spot. The view is as incredible as the effort it took to capture it.
