These wells, which are one of the last water sources, dry up every day. These wells feeding the Burdur lake are extremely important for wild animals, farms and livestock in the region.
The people of the region, who make their living by farming, have been experiencing great difficulties recently and have made a long and tiring journey to meet the water needs of the animals in the last days when the water level has decreased.
The water wells in this photo used to overflow, and the water reaching the lake thanks to the water channels could no longer feed the lake, and as the water level decreased, it became impossible for the animals to drink water from the deep well. .
Unfortunately, because the sheep were small, they could not be fed from these wells.
They will make do with moist soil and grass until the next water source.
