This is one of my favorite road shots that I've captured recently, taken at the majestic Valley of Fire State Park on a big Winter road-trip earlier this year. There's just something about the open road that I love. The feeling of speed, adventure, discovery; there's nothing quite like it. And that is why road compositions continue to be some of my favorites. I figured this image in particular would be an excellent photo to kick off my Monthly Editions, since it symbolizes one of the aspects of life that I enjoy the most: adventure.
