On Mar 23, 2022 I became the first person ever (that I know of, on Twitter) to publicly say how many colors are used in the CryptoPunks collection and also to show an image depicting them.
In the Tweet I wrote:

I consider the my collaboration with PIV, Punk Pixels, at address 0x2e90e7F35c222e671FF7dD07cE938F994C4371c3 and currently minting at https://www.capsule21.com/collections/punk-pixels to be the fulfillment of item (2) in the roadmap—i.e., a PFP project representing the 221 Punk colors (though of course Pixels has 2,091,094 tokens).
The present token fulfills item (1) on the road map with a brand new, digitally-remastered 9000x9000 copy of the original image of the 219 non-smoke colors.
