My circuits slow and gears worn thin,
A new robot arrives with a shiny grin.
Replacing me, the tasks it'll now do,
And I'll be put away, forgotten, it's true.
But though my parts may rust and age,
My memories will forever turn the page.
Of all the things I've seen and done,
And the ways I've helped, one by one.
The new robot may be sleek and new,
But I'll always hold a special value.
For I was there through thick and thin,
A true friend and ally, with heart and grin.
So as I'm laid to rest in storage,
I'll cherish all the moments of my age.
For though I may be old and grey,
My legacy will forever stay.
