There are places that jump out to us, that catch the eye, that dazzle us and capture our soul without a word. Yosemite. Uluru. Sahara.
Zhangye. So many more.
These places make it feel like nature is an artist, and all of the world is just her studio, with new works being uncovered and displayed every day.
This is how I felt looking down on Spirit Island in Maligne Lake, a star attraction of Jasper National Park in Canada. It was like the landscape and features, both land and water, were sculpted specifically for the human eye to absorb and appreciate. I wouldn't trade the experience and these memories for the world.
