There's not many places in the world where I felt like I walked into a real life fairy tale... Lake Bled, Slovenia did just that.
When I arrived at this magical place I could feel the energy in the air. It was a frosty morning as the briskness of Autumn was upon us, yet the gentle kiss of the sun brought a warm and fuzzy aura to this place. I felt as if I would turn a corner and see a bustling marketplace full of elves, dwarves, wizards and all other kinds of fairytale friends.
I was overwhelmed by this feeling and knew I needed to capture a photo that could express the whimsical nature of this place. I couldn't have been happier as I composed my frame. Some clouds rolled over the mountains in the distance and brought in some mist of light rainfall while the sun, simultaneously, blasted through an opening in the clouds.
My jaw dropped as sunshine and a rainbow danced around the island causing a beautiful contrast with this magical 17th century church at the center of it all.
