It was a frosty morning in the Swiss Alps. I had just spent the night camping up in the mountains high above the village of Grindelwald. Ok, side note... Let's take a second to appreciate the fact that Grindelwald might be the most "Harry Potter" sounding name for a village of all time.
Alright, back to the story! I packed up my camping gear which was a total mess because a sneaky fox decided to rummage through my bag in the night. It was really chilly out so I started to rush back down the mountain. That's when I looked over at the lake one last time and noticed a hiker making their way across from the other side.
I instantly dropped my bag, grabbed my camera and ran to the shore. I knew exactly how this photo would turn out. I waited until the hiker was perfectly centered with the tip of the mountain... And then CLICK. I got it.
This scene brought me an overwhelming feeling of serenity as the water was as still as glass and the reflection created nearly perfect symmetry.
